What the script reads, and what it does not
- Version, patch level and edition
- Instance settings (memory, parallelism, sensitive options)
- Options, sizes and backup ages of each database, last CHECKDB
- Security as counts: sysadmin members, the sa login, logins without a password policy
- Top waits, missing and unused index counts, tempdb
- SQL Agent job failures over 7 days, free disk space, high availability
Never read: the content of your tables, query text, execution plans, login names, passwords or their hashes, the server name. The script creates and changes nothing and sends nothing: you upload the file yourself.

The free score is provided by Samix Technology (Evan Barke, entrepreneur individuel (EI), SIRET 914 474 358 00019, 6 rue Jean-Philippe Rameau, 66750 Saint-Cyprien, France). It is for businesses only.
You must be allowed to run the script on the server concerned. The script is read-only and provided as is: read it before you run it, ideally outside production first.
The score is indicative: it relies only on the metadata the script writes and does not replace an audit. Our liability for the free service is excluded to the extent the law allows.
The full report is a consulting deliverable written and signed by Evan Barke, sent by email within 3 business days of payment. It involves no work on your systems. If we cannot deliver it (an unusable file, for example), you get a full refund. Our liability is limited to the price paid. French law applies.
Privacy

Data processed: the uploaded file (technical metadata: versions, settings, counts, sizes, database and job names unless you mask them) and your details (email, company, name).
Purposes: computing your score, preparing the report if you order it, and getting back to you about this score. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in following it up. No resale, no automated prospecting, no cookies.
Retention: 90 days, then deleted automatically. If you order, as long as the service and our accounting duties require.
Hosting: on our own server, in France. The full report may be prepared with the help of AI tools (Anthropic, Claude), on this technical metadata only and always reviewed by Evan Barke.
Your rights: access, correction, deletion and objection by email to evan@samix-technology.com. You may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
